What EverydayFitHabits collects, why, and how to opt out — in plain language.
This page explains what EverydayFitHabits.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. Last updated 14 September 2026.
The short version
This is a small, independent site run by one person. There are no accounts, no logins and no comments. The only personal information anyone gives this site is an email address, and only if they choose to ask for the free habit guide. Everything else is anonymous traffic measurement.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides people read. It records things like the pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are (country or city level, not an address), your device type and browser, and which site or search you arrived from. It sets cookies in your browser to do this.
Analytics data is aggregated. It is not used to identify you, and it is never sold or shared with advertisers. If you would rather not be counted at all, any browser-level tracking blocker, private window, or Google's own opt-out add-on will stop it.
The email list
If you enter your email address to get the 30-Day Healthy Habits Challenge, that address is stored with Klaviyo, which handles the email sending for this site. The list uses double opt-in: you will get a confirmation email first, and you are only added once you click the link in it.
The list is used to send the guide and occasional related emails. It is never sold, rented or shared. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately. To have your address deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email hello@everydayfithabits.com and it will be removed.
Affiliate links
Some guides link to products on Amazon through the Amazon Associates programme. If you buy something after following one of those links, this site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon can set its own cookies when you follow such a link, under Amazon's privacy notice, not this one. Commission never determines what gets recommended.
Hosting and logs
The site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages. There is no database and no server-side code collecting anything. GitHub may keep standard technical request logs as part of serving the site, described in GitHub's privacy statement.
Children
This site is written for adults over 30 and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, ask for your address to be deleted, block analytics in your browser, or simply ask what is held about you. All of it goes to the same place: hello@everydayfithabits.com.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
